Covid Copenhagen

On February 27th, 2020, the first Danish case of COVID-19 was detected. Since then, the infection spread with such tremendous speed that the authority decided on a national lockdown and then also closed Denmark's borders. The corona crisis also resulted in the closure of kindergartens, schools, universities, restaurants, cinemas, cafés, theaters, venues and nightclubs, as well as encroachments on freedom of assembly in large parts of 2020 and 2021. Covid Copenhagen is produced together with photographer Mads Eneqvist.
